Aunt Erica comes to town!!!

When school first let out, Aunt Erica was able to fly south and visit us in the sunshine state for "All day long" as Avery says.  (In other words, she visited for a week)  We had a FANTASTIC time.  We had great weather, lots of laughs, great bonding time, took some sisterly trips to the mall and she soaked in every minute with her 2 favorite (only) nephews. Below are some pics of when we went to a new water park that just opened up in town.

Avery's last day of his first year of preschool!!!

Avery has wrapped up his first year of preschool.  He did FANTASTIC!!! He never shed a tear (although Mommy did) and it was exciting to watch him develop throughout the year. He made some great friends, had EXCELLENT teachers and we are already looking forward to next year.  But first, CHEERS to an exciting summer break ahead.  We have lots planned and tons to look forward to!!

Landon gets his FIRST haircut.

At the old age of 15 months, Landon gets his first haircut.  He was starting to sport a 1980s mullet so we thought it was time.  Luckily, Aunt Erica was visiting and was able to give him his first haircut.  He wasn't so sure of the black cape, so by the end, he was down to his diaper!!!

Community Helper Day at Preschool

Avery's preschool class had a "Community Helper Day" at school.  Avery chose to dress as a construction worker.  In other words, he wore his Handy Manny costume.

Avery's 4th Birthday Bash

Since we were at Mimi and Papa's for Averys actual birthday, we chose to have a little fiesta there and a mini fiesta when we got back to SRQ.  Below are the pics (in complete RANDOM order, thanks to the new blogger format and my lack of patience) from our backyard BBQ.

We were visiting Mimi and Papa in Illinois on Avery's 4th birthday.  While we had his party planned for after our return to the sunshine state, we still had a mini party with Mimi and Papa.  Gifts and cake too!!

Easter 2012

The Easter Bunny came!!! He found us at Mimi and Papa' House

Wow!!! We've rummaged through our baskets, now headed out the door to church.  Mommy and her 2 boys.  (Daddy had to stay in Sunny Sarasota for work.)

Back home from church, back in jammies and in the back yard for an Easter Egg Hunt.

Landon is taking part in the egg hunt, he simply prefers to climb for the high ones.
