Cheers to 7 years!!!

We just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary.  We were fortunate enough to be able to get away for a 24 hour staycation.  We booked a room at the Hyatt Regency here in Sarasota and made dinner reservations at Ruth's Chris.  We enjoyed some R and R by the pool during the day over a couple of "Category 5" beverages.  It was a fabulous time.  Cheers to 7 years!!!

Enjoying some complimentary Rum Punch in the room.

A view of the pool from our room.

Life is Good!!!

We were on the fifth floor.  A view of our room from the pool.

The Hyatt Lobby, prior to leaving for dinner.

At dinner. Deciding what to order.  Decisions, decisions!!!
A nice, red wine shall start the meal off right.

The BEST calamari we have EVER had!!!
Ready to go for dinner.  Lookin' sharp!!!

Ready to go too!!! This is the dress I wore to our rehearsal dinner 7 years ago.  Awe, such sentiment.
Creme Brulee.  Was NOT difficult to eat.
Left over food AND wine. Would you like that to go?  Yes please!!!

Acting "silly" in the elevator.  The wine had NOTHING to do with it.

Acting silly in the hallway.  Wine had NOTHING to do with that either!!!

Gym Camp

Avery is quite the active little dude.  While we have lots and lots planned for this summer, we still have some "down" time.  Avery decided he wanted to sign up for gym camp at the YMCA.  It was a week long session, Monday through Friday from 9:00 - 12:00.  They had organized gym time with the instructors learning how to do different things, snack time and swim time.  As you will see in the pics below, he LOVED it!!!

Doing his routine during the last day of camp while the mommies watch.
                                                     Our little spider monkey!
                                            Great for coordination building!!!
                                                        Walking the balance beam!!!
A back flip over the big octagon!!!
He is done with his routie.  Good job little man!!!
Standing on the platform being presented his ribbon.  So proud!!!
And what would gym camp be without his best friend Jadyn?!?!?

Vacation Bible School at St. Patricks Church

Avery was so excited to start "The Cation Bible School" this year.  Last year was his first year and he LOVED it.  This year was even better.  His class consisted of his best friend Jadyn and only kids from his class from his first year of preschool. There wasn't a stranger in sight!!!

Standing on stage performing during their last day.
Love all the expressions on the itty bitties faces!!!
Cheese.........as in CHEESE PIZZA that we all got to eat for lunch after their performance.
Awe!!! Such good little kids standing on stage perfectly in line with their hands to themselves. (great actors, eh?)
 Its CHOW TIME!!!
Now, every Sunday when we head into church, Avery asks "Can we go to the Cation School?"

A Day at the Fountains!!!

Prior to traveling to Illinois we spent the day at the marina playing with friends and soaking up some playtime before we said our goodbyes for THREE weeks.  When you are used to spending almost everyday with the same people and then spend 3 weeks apart we go through some withdrawls.  Below are the pics of our visit to Marina Jack!!!

Brothers playing in the baby fountains.
More toys please.
He's OFF!!! Probably in search of a ball or to make a mad dash through the fountains.
"Got some sunglasses I could wear?"
He's back........attacking the alligator.
Give this little tike a ball and he's a happy camper!!!
Take this kid's ball away....he's not so happy!!! (Jaxon and Landon learning to share.)
Jamie and I couldn't blow up this ball......we'll let the 4 year olds take a shot at it.
"I need a ride too, people!!!", says Jaxon
"Landon, get your mom to let you out of the stroller and we'll go chasin' women!!!"
