Welcome!!!

WELCOME CAMRYN ALEXIS PANCOAST

Today we welcomed another addition to the Pancoast side of our family at 8:01 a.m: Camryn Alexis Pancoast. She weighed 7lbs, 2 oz and was 19 inches long. Camryn is the newest of daughters to my brother Ryan and his wife Holli. Rylie is now a "big sister" although, she told her daddy this morning that "she doesn't feel any bigger." Ryan, Holli, Rylie and Camryn are all doing great. I will post more pictures as I get them. Rico, Avery and I are all very anxious to meet her.

CONGRATS GUYS!!!

Boca Grande

Sunday afternoon was another beautiful day in the sunshine state. Rico, Avery and I loaded up the Chrysler and went to Boca Grande. We stopped and picked up my Uncle Bob who was able to act as "tour guide" and show us around this cute island. Neither Rico nor I hade ever been to Boca Grande so it was nice to see a new area and a different beach.

Uncle Bob and Rico by the water....Avery sits by in his stroller catching some Zs.

Wow, thats one BIG Ice Cream cone........but they were YUMMY.

Ahhhh, what cute pic by the banyan tree.

Just a view of the water as we were driving around the island. You can never get tired of looking at palm trees and the Gulf of Mexico.

Taking a Poll

For all you mothers out there (new mothers and long time mothers, even grandmothers) ..... How many of you can relate.....( I am sure all of you can) But, how many times does it happen when you change your lil' one's diaper and as soon as you get the new, clean, fresh, dry diaper on, you put them down to continue playing........all to see them concentrating so hard to squeeze out a fresh, brown, smelly, long new "one." And you know what I mean. So, all of your hard work in changing that diaper was useless. The timing is a bit off, I guess. Well, this has happened to me several times this week, so either my timing is bad or my little guy knows exactly what he is doing.

Disclaimer: Changing a diaper on a 10 month old is a bit more challenging than a newborn or even a toddler, I might add. It takes patience, strength and of course a sense of creativity.
So please, cast your vote with a simple "no, you are not alone, Jessi" or a "Jessi, your son has you whooped." Now be honest, I can take it like a woman. Simply click on the red word below that says "comments", you may remain anonymous or you may let the whole world know who you are.

Kitchen Renovation

Rico and I have an ongoing joke that we are "renovating" our kitchen. What exactly is the joke, you ask? Well, Avery has taken it upon himself to tear out all of the tupperware out of the cabinets and while the refridgerator is open he tears everything out of it that he can. He can't harm anything, it's fun to watch and it is a great way for him to explore. So, we just let him have at it. However, at the end of the day....someone has to clean up all of the "construction" mess, and that would be me (mommy) . However, the way I look at it is this: When you have such a hard worker "renovating" your kitchen, you don't mind the clean up.

"Okay, all the tupperware is in place, now it's time to work on the 'fridge." (Notice all the bottles of salad dressing on the floor.)

"Oh hey, can I help you with something? I am hard at work here." (Notice the middle shelf in the 'fridge door is empty.....its all on my floor.)

"I love my job. How much are you folks paying me again?"

Yes, above you see a picture of Busch Light. Mmmmm, what yummy white trash, red-neck beer. Yesterday, while out on errands with Rico and Avery, we made a stop at the Sprint store. Rico ran in while I stayed in the car with Avery. In the meantime, a man pulls up next to us in a beat up red truck (probably a 1985 or so) and goes into a store next to Sprint, takes care of what he needed to take care of, and comes back out. Next, he opens his truck door, gets a metal coat hanger out of the truck, opens the hood of his truck pokes around at the engine and starts the truck with this hanger??? Who knows. Next, he gets in his truck, opens a can of.......you guessed it.........Busch Light, chugs the whole beer, throws the empty can in the back of his truck and drives off.

What is wrong with people. This terrifies me to think that we are out driving around town with precious cargo (Avery) in our car while we have MORONS like that guy driving around town. I told Rico I was so tempted to call the cops on his A**. While I do agree a nice, cold beer is tasty and refreshing every now and then......I don't agree with drinking a beer (Busch Light at that) and driving around town................(oh, and at 4:00 in the afternoon.) Does anybody else agree? This is White trash, rednecks straight out of the trailor park for ya. WATCH OUT!!!

Ready to Walk???

Avery is now 10 months old and is showing us VERY CLEAR signs that he is ready to walk. He is standing on his own and it is simply adorable to watch as he is so proud of himself. (Don't kid yourself, mommy and daddy are very proud too.)

"Getting my balance...then I'm goin to take the dog on a walk."

"Busted, I'm supposed to be getting ready for bed, but these toys look fun."

"Alright, balance obtained, where did you put the dog's leash, Mom?"

Our Visit to Ft. Myers, Florida

We have been without a computer for 5 days. We had it cleaned out and more memory installed so we can download tons more pictures. Anyhow, over the weekend we went to Ft. Myers, Florida to visit my grandparents. Avery was so excited to spend some QT with his Great Grandma (Nanny) and Great Grandpa.

Avery "exploring" their house. "Ooooh, all the new sites to see and oh what fun I could have with all of Nanny's breakables."

Nanny just fed Avery his snack and is snuggling with him and of course....his sniffer.

Out on the Golf Cart. Nanny and Grandpa live in a gated community where people drive around on golf carts.

Rico, Avery and Granpa....on our way out to lunch.

AAA

It has been a while since we have posted some pics of our Triple A. For those of you who aren't sharp enough to figure it out....Triple A is Avery Alexander Alcala. Now you know. Anyhow, he is becoming quite independant in regards to feeding himself.

Disclaimer: 50% of the food ends up in his mouth, 50% of the food ends up on the floor, which in turn, ends up in our dogs mouth. Gotta love a mop on four feet.

Here is our own little monkey...he LOVES bananas!!!

And........scrambled eggs for the 1st time. Daddy has already volunteered to change all diapers in the next 24 hours!!!

Yes, it take 5 fingers (sometimes 10) to get the eggs in his mouth.

Ahhh, my sniffy (AKA his blanket) He just stops throughout the day to get a good smell of his sniffy, then moves about his business.

Quick, one more sniffer stop..............
